Hi Everyone:

I now have a clear idea of what each of our public art collaborations is planning. I will remain available on this blog until 7PM. Afterward I will check the blog until I leave town on Wednesday to (literally) get my own show on the road. Please do not hesitate to email me at my UArts account or to continue to post to this blog. I will do my utmost to respond.

Thanks, all, for a very productive session today!

Good thinking Kate - I really like what you and Adam are planning - the fact that if it goes "wrong" it could actually make for a more effective and resonant statement in your art piece.

Great work, both - I can't wait to see what comes of this,

That sounds like a good idea, probably set it up soon incase something goes wrong right away, and document it. That way we would have time to redo it. Although if something were to go wrong it would be interesting too and it might add to our piece. Thanks Mara.

Adam and Kate:

I like this idea quite a bit...but as with any subversive art piece you'll need to anticipate all the ways that it can go wrong, be hampered by authorities other than yourselves, etc.

I think you get the idea...

So, why not try it a couple of ways and document what happens?

-Mara
I agree
Yes, Kate, I think that can work.. and accomplish your goals for the project...Adam, what do you think?
